Correction for Tom Becenti

BECENTI — Funeral services for Tom B. Becenti, 90, were 10 a.m., Thursday, March 31, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Crownpoint. The Rev. Cecil Lewis officiated. Burial will be Monday, April 4, at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

Mildred Carlston

GREASEWOOD — Funeral services for Mildred Rose Carlston, 57, will be 10 a.m., Monday, April 4, at Our Lady of Rosary Catholic Church, Greasewood. Brother Paul O’Brian will officiate. Burial will be in Greasewood Cemetery. Visitation will be at Greasewood Catholic.

Carlston died March 28, 2011, in Ganado. She was born Feb. 8, 1954, in Ganado, into the Towering House People Clan for the Edge Water People Clan.

Carlston attended DeVry Institute. She was employed with Sage Memorial Hospital. Her hobbies included spending time with children and grandchildren, families and home decorating.
Survivors include her sons, Troy Carlston of Albuquerque, Tyson Carlston of Greasewood; daughter, Tanya Carlston of Albuquerque; brothers, H. Art Nez, Merril Nez, Dwayne Nez, Orville Damon; sister, Margaret Damon of Wyo.; three grandchildren.

Carlston was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Carlston Jr.; mother, Marie Damon; brothers, Patrick Joseph, Michael Nez, Saul Damon, Leander Damon, Harold Damon; grandparents, Earl and Jane Denetso.

Pallbearers will be Jasper James, Willis Martin, Orville Damon, Leonard Carlston, Nelson Jymm, Jeconiah Author.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Greasewood Chapter House, following services.

Eli Henry

GALLUP — Funeral services for Eli Aiden Henry, 6 months, will be 10 a.m., Monday, April 4, at Rollie Mortuary Palm Chapel, Gallup. The Rev. Dennis Gardner will officiate. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery.

Henry died March 28, 2011, in Albuquerque. He was born Aug. 31, 2010, in Gallup, into the Red Running Into the Water People Clan for the Water Flowing Together People Clan.

Henry always had a smile and was always happy. He had a way of making his family happy.

Survivors include his parents, Carletts Henry, Quintania John, both of Gallup; brothers, Christian Washington, Landon Shirley, all of Gallup; Peyton Henry, Presley Henry, both of Gallup; grandparents, Cynthia Chee, Alfred John Jr., Eleanor Henry, Chee Henry Jr.

Henry was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Arthur F. Shirley, Tony Johnson Sr.; Colby Shirley, Felix Shirley; great-grandmother, Elsie T. Henry; Clyde Henry.

Pallbearers will be Arthur Shirley Jr., Dewyett Shirley, Colby Henry, Carnelise Henry.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Twin Lakes Chapter House, following services.

Florinsa Lacy-Leyba

GALLUP — Memorial services for Florinsa (Flo) Ann Lacy-Leyba, 42, will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, at St. John Vianney Church. The Rev. James Walker will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Gallup. A Rosary will be 7 p.m., Monday, April 4, at St. John Vianney.

Lacy-Leyba died March 29, 2011, in Gallup. She was born March 29, 1969, in Gallup.

Lacy-Leyba had a love for jewelry, AC-DC and the Dallas Cowboys.

Survivors include her son, Jeremy Paul Lacy of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Adara Sheree Leyba of Las Vegas, Nev.; parents, Albert and Lucille Adair; brothers, Rodney Lacy, Alan Lacy; sisters, Loretta Fleming, Leona Garcia.

Lacy-Leyba was preceded in death by her father, Malcolm R. Lacy; nephew, Jr. Stacey.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McKinley County Humane Society.

Julia Raney

ALLISON — Rosary for Julia A. Raney, 82, was 7 p.m., Friday, April 1, at Rollie Mortuary.

Raney died March 25, 2011, in Gallup. She was born Sept. 27, 1928, in Gallup.

Raney worked for the City of Gallup for 20 years until retirement. Her hobbies included gardening, taking care of her animals and being a good wife and friend.

Survivors include her son, Don Raney; daughter-in-law, Karen Raney; two sisters; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Raney was preceded in death by her husband, Sleet Hale Raney; parents, Julia and Frank; seven sisters.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Davidson, Jacob Cobbs, Mike Orphey, Lisa Rodriguez, Victor Villegas, Jeremy Cobb.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gallup Humane Society.

Ace Reynolds

GRANTS — Funeral services for Ace Norris “Ace” Reynolds, 78, will be 10 a.m., Monday, April 4, at Church of Latter-day Saints, Grants. Burial will be in Luna Cemetery, Luna.

Reynolds died March 30, 2011, in Albuquerque. He was born June 23, 1932, in Luna.

Reynolds was an underground miner for 45 years. He loved the mountains, hunting and being outdoors. He loved talking about old times and being with family, especially his great-granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley; sons, Dean Reynolds of Columbus, Mont., John Reynolds of Bloomfields; daughters, Jody of Milan, Arlene Johnson of Bloomfield; step-sons, Pete Merayo of Monroe, Utah, Effard Merayo, Eddie Merayo, both of Bluewater; brothers, Kay Reynolds, Teddy Reynolds; sister, Norene Sanders; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents, Asel Van Reynolds, Alcesta Hamblin Reynolds.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Reynolds, Ron Reynolds, Chad Reynolds, Gordon Merayo, Sean Merayo, Douglas Salazar.
